As predicted by everyone that has experienced the SLAVA CUP, it was another close game between Geelong and USC (Although you may have mistaken Geelong for Syrena
looking at the shirts they were playing in)
USC dropped the 1st and 3rd sets, only to settle in, change the gear to overdrive and come home strong to win in 5. The spirit of the "Fire and Friendship" Cup
came through on the day with some heated banter exchanged under the net by both teams. In the end, both teams replenished the carbs lost with some responsible bevies and pizza afterwards.
All in all a great day was had by all and we can't wait for the next leg over in Geelong.
Thanks to all the boys that hiked down from Geelong for the game and everyone from USC who helped with the preparation of the game. Especially Andrew Mak.
